As part of the celebrations they had a special visit. As a female artist I wanted to base my inspiration piece on another female artist's work - there aren't enough artworks by female artists in public collections.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\"\u003eThis piece of art is made using textile processes; I draw with stitch. I also collage billboard posters which I salvage from the streets of Bristol. These poster are originally printed using a pixelated printing process called 'half tone', and by the time I get my hands on them they are weathered and thickly layered on top of each other.
