The flower press has 10 sheets of quality blotting paper, sandwiched between 5 sections of corrugated card for ventilation and rigidity between the layers.

I designed this after using a lot of leaves that needed pressing within my artwork. I created this flower press after looking for something that was the right size to use for leaves and flowers alike.

Made from 6mm plywood, card, blotting paper and steel bolts.

Please note that as this is made out of a natural material (wood) the surface of the flower press can have small marks and variations such as knots. It is subjective call if these are an issue for someone: some prefer the natural imperfections, some prefer a re-cut. I try to get in touch with people if I am not sure, but if you receive a flower press and it has a mark on it that you are not happy with then please get in touch and I can re-cut it for you.
