The iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge is a symbol of Bristol. This artwork deliberately takes in the road underneath the bridge - the sound of which dominates the gorge due to the volume of traffic on it. Once a year it is closed for the Bristol half marathon - on such a day calm descends on the valley in the early hours.
